Project on Masaryk Street
This was Cosy Casa's first project.
The project included adding an additional floor onto an existing building of two floors in the International style.
There were two apartments in the project:
- The renovation of the original apartment, which was 180 square meters.
- Building a penthouse of 180 square meters with a roof garden above it.
The project included preparing plans for the building addition, as well as for the inside of the two apartments. All of these plans were done by Cosy Casa.
For both of the apartments, we accompanied the clients throughout the planning and renovation stages, until their entrance into the apartments.
The plans for the additional floor and apartment were closely related to all the elements in the existing, original building, and retained its stone, openings, and general character. Seeing the building today, one would never guess that it has had one floor added to it, because the preservation work was carried out with a sensitive faithfulness to the original.
